Birth Photography & Doula Services
Real, Raw, and Miraculous are the words that come to mind when describing the definition of birth. Documenting the intimate place where your baby is brought earthside is a personal honor. Capturing the arrival of your precious baby and forever encapsulating the emotions, the splendor, and the absolute breathtaking beauty of a new life is one of my favorite things in the world!

Everyone’s birth story is beautiful, hard, memorable, and forgettable all at the same time, and one of the best decisions I made was hiring Leslie to be my birth photographer (and for my maternity, newborn, yearly birthday photos, family photos, and next kid, and so on).
To be honest, I didn’t really notice she was in the room—it might have been the contractions, but also because she was so sensitive to respecting the environment. But when I saw the photos, I was blown away by how she had captured every moment and was right in the middle of the action.
What really blew me away was the fact that Leslie gave me the gift of the exact moment that I met my firstborn son (I’m crying as I write this). With the guidance of my midwife, I was able to personally deliver my own son, lifting him up and onto my chest for the first time.
It all happened so fast and was a blur of emotions and feelings, but every time I look at that image of his misshapen conehead and my look of exhaustion and pure joy, all of the memories come flooding back.
And for that, I will be forever grateful to Leslie for capturing a moment in time that my heart and my life were forever changed.

Birth Photography
As a StillBirthday certified Doula, and professional photographer that has served in many birth settings over the last decade, I bring knowledge and empowerment into the birth space. Documenting the story of your sweet new blessing as it literally unfolds before our eyes, walking with each family before, during, and after baby's arrival, and being a source of information, support, and prayer for my client is the most rewarding career.
With a Photojournalistic approach, every detail is captured, the setting of the story told. This time in the life of your family is told centered around the mother, her desires, her wishes, and needs. Your support person does not have to worry with remembering the camera or missing out on holding you and helping their loved one with their biggest job to date, bringing that baby into the world! That is why I am there! With dignity and careful attention to detail and the wishes of the family always at the core, I am poised to capture each frame that will bring each image to life and create a lasting memory of this most beautiful time.
Your birth photography package includes one prenatal appointment over facetime or zoom so we can get to know each other, lay out your desires, concerns, questions and we can work on your birth plan. I am on call for your birth 2 weeks before your due date and two weeks after, meaning I am not going too far away! Your birth gallery will be available to you by online gallery link with a password and print release. We do suggest adding a customized album to your package, so you have printed memories to enjoy and look through while feeding into the night hours!
Birth Photography Package $1350
Add-on customized Album $350

Doula & Birth Photography
Feeling physically and emotionally safe during childbirth is important to ensure the best outcomes. Physical support is important because it helps you maintain a sense of control, comfort, and confidence, and can provide relief or distraction from pain. Feeling safe can also calm your nerves and allow your body to stay in a relaxed state, so labor will progress at its best. I employ these techniques for my clients:
-
Soothing touch with massage, counter pressure, essential oil therapy, or other techniques.
-
Creating a calm environment, such as dimming lights and arranging curtains.
-
Assisting with water therapy (shower, tub).
-
Applying warm or cold packs.
-
Holding hands and making eye contact.
-
Teaching breathing and visualization techniques.
-
Guiding you with positions, movement, swaying, pelvic rocking, or using a birth ball or peanut ball.
-
Assisting you in walking to and from the bathroom or changing clothes.
-
Giving ice chips, food, and drinks.
-
Changing bedding or maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the room.
-
Tending to siblings and advocating for the birth space

Sarah S.
Leslie was a blessing at each of my three births, navigating hospital, birth center, and finally, my triumphant homebirth. She was more than just a photographer; she was my rock, prayer warrior, and sister in Christ. Without needing to ask, she offered prayers, reassurance, and powerful words to ground me. I'm grateful for the beautiful memories we've created, from maternity to family portraits and everything in between. Thank you for capturing my growing family's journey through life.

Having Leslie at our birth was nothing short of amazing. She has a calming voice and instinctive personality that I and my husband could count on. I would recommend that you hire her, NOW if you are expecting!
M Family
Leslie has captured memories from our engagement to family pictures and all the in betweens too!
I wasn't sure if I wanted or needed a birth doula and photographer. But we went ahead as support is always a good thing. I would have hired her time and time over, that is how much she meant to my motherhood journey.
She will pray heaven down and loves fiercely, she is an advocate when needed. She is of immense value in that birthing room.
