Meet Your Photographer

I have been photographing babies and children since 2009 when I started with my own children and my best friend's new daughter. Throughout my years of photography I have recognized that my niche and love lie in capturing the pregnancy journey through baby's 1st year! Maternity and Newborn are my favorite subjects. If you are new to motherhood, I’d love to chat about capturing your journey. I have met amazing people, photographed hundreds of babies and families, and been blessed immensely; all while finding a purpose that the Lord has given me here on earth.

 

I am first and foremost, a mama to 6 amazing children. They keep me on my toes and keep me laughing daily. Our children range from 15-24 years. We are out of the baby stages here and it makes my baby fever rampant! I am the wife to a hard-working, and doting husband, who is by far the most supportive man I know. At some point each of you has or will meet him, he is my "prop engineer"! He can be seen carrying sofas and backdrops, holding puppies while their family takes a portrait, or wrangling a baby or two!

 

I am also a Mimi. I never thought I would be a *gasp* grandmother at 38 years old but here I am rocking it! Athena (October 2019), Brexton (March 2021), Ashton Cole (April 2022), and Ryder (October 2023) are the absolute pride and joy of our lives. Goodness, it is true being a grandparent is so much different and more than being a parent. Being a Mimi is such a special thing, and it is a job I take very seriously. Gracious I love my babies so much. Sadly, we lost Brexton unexpectedly (August 2021), our hearts are forever changed but will remain grateful for the time we had with him and expectant for the future we have with him in eternity. His passing has birthed a way to create a memorial session each year that we have named, Brexton's Birthdays.

I am a sucker for a sunset, I enjoy reading, crafting around the house, traveling, and decorating. I live to worship and love worship nights around the fire. I dare say if you cannot find us at home, we are Worshiping Jesus or at the ball field! Our family loves the outdoors and camping too, and with boy boys...fishing! Now that the kids are much older, we enjoy traveling and seeing new places, and recently enjoyed seeing Bermuda for the first time! I am always up for trying new things and meeting new people!  

 

All of that to say, I promise I am a regular ole' Mom seeking to honor God with the skill and desire he has given me to bless others with precious memories. So that is it about me, ask anything else you would like to know! See you soon!
