Motherhood. There are so many stages.

Becoming a Mom. Yep that stage is beautiful and hard all at the same time. The sleepless nights, and shoot days too. The worry of if you are doing it right, why is she crying, why is he sleeping so long? All the worries.

The toddler tyrants or lovey loves, the elementary fun and first days of school. ALL the sports. Becoming a soccer mom, cheer mom or class mom. The homework, the carpools, the late nights on the field. All the worries then too.

Junior high and high school, whew we made it! But wait why is she crying? Where is he off to now? What sport? How much homework!? Graduation time already???? Colleges sending mail to the house........All the worries keep coming.

And once upon a time I thought when they grow up, I have done my job! I have raised them and loved them well. And I did.......but now you worry if they are eating well, do you have enough money, what kind of friends do they have? Marriage?? Oh yikes! Grandbabies!?! Oh, what joy! There are still more worries.

While preparing this blog today I realized, the carousel of motherhood continues. We mingle in the times of new mom and old, grandmother too. There are always worries and things we didn't have time for. But what I see most, is that this amazing part of life, being a mother, lasts much longer than not. It is full of joys. Each of the things I mentioned may be worrisome, but do you know how much joy is found in each of those too?
