The loss of a baby is never an easy thing to deal with. The loss of a twin baby brings a different sense of grief in the midst of the happiest day of your life.

I met this amazing strong family at Duke University hospital when a family member of theirs called us. You never know what you will walk into when a death has occurred, especially one so unexpected. The room while quiet still had joy. While there were tears there was laughter. There was love.
This sweet little boy is a twin. And while he will not meet his brother on this side of Heaven he is an amazing creation full of life and love. A miracle.
