Safety | Before & After | Burlington NC Newborn Photographer

Are you being safe even with your simplest poses? Are you taking risks with those tiny new clients in your studio? DON’T Even if you do not have an assistant available to you, I have found there are always hands ready and waiting to help!

I am going to show you a very easy pose. A classic one I do with each session. This particular one was a little more challenging and you will see why in a second. BUT with extra hands, patience, and composition shots I have an awesome portrait for this family to cherish always!

Please, study and perfect your craft before taking any chances with any client but especially Newborns!

In the first two photos, you will see where my spotters hands were, in order for this shot to be safe and successful.

In this third shot you will see I have taken out the spotters and made my image ready for my style processing. Up until this point your images should and can look similar to this. It is up to you after this point as to what you want your image to look like before giving the art to the family!

And here is my final image. This is the image the family will see, order, and hang in their home for years to come!
